"I highly recommend Total Approach Wellness program and team. For years I suffered from a host of ailments that many doctors were unable to diagnosis or effectively treat. They took the time to really listen to me and truly focused on the root causes of my issues and didn't just randomly treat whatever symptoms showed up that day. Now I have more energy, better mental clarity, no more tummy issues or insomnia. It really has changed my life!"
"I am a rising senior studying journalism. I was so fatigued. Sometimes I took naps in the grass because I thought I couldn’t safely cross the road to get to class. I would get dizzy spells. I was pretty sure I was going to have to drop out of college. But after coming to Total Approach I learned what to eat, my cravings went away, my symptoms started to go away completely, I’m able to go back to school!"
"Stephanie and PA Phillips stayed with me every step of the way as I lost weight, lowered my A1C, converted to healthy oils, got off sugar and bad carbs, and so much more. I really believe it is the path to robust health. I believe that following this program also facilitated long-term cognitive health which is supremely important to me. Thank you, a thousand times. "
During your initial consultation, we will carefully review and discuss your medical history as well as your current issues and concerns. If you are a good candidate for our services, we will discuss the necessary lab tests and schedule your follow-up appointments.
The initial consultation is $87.00.
If you are NOT an in-state resident, your initial visit at Total Approach Wellness & Aesthetics must be in person. We do not accept new patients that are not in-state residents. For existing patients we do offer phone appointments as needed.
Patients have email access with our Total Approach Wellness & Aesthetics Team. However, if an email question or request is deemed by one of our staff to be too complicated or involved for a response via email they may, at their discretion, require that the patient schedule a phone or in person visit instead of responding via email.
There is a 24-hour cancellation policy for all appointments. Cancelling within 24-hours will result in a $50 charge to the credit card on file.
No-shows: If you do not show up to an appointment without a 24-hour (minimum) notification of cancellation the visit will be deducted from the appointments still available in your membership package. If no appointments remain in your membership package, or you usually pay per visit, you will be charged for the visit.
If you are late for an appointment you will be seen for the remainder of your appointment time only in order to avoid delays for other patients. There will be no adjustment in the charge for the visit.
We do not accept insurance for office visits nor do we have an insurance billing department or staff.
It is important to note the following:
• We do not fulfill an insurance company’s requirement for an in network primary care physician as we are not in-network with any insurance plan.
• We will make every effort to make you fully aware of any additional lab fees that may be incurred and to give you the opportunity to choose which lab tests you feel comfortable paying for.
• We do not have a 24-hour answering service and do not take calls on weekends. If you need to be seen urgently or have a medical emergency you would need to visit an ER or urgent care center.
Patient fully understands that when prepaying for corrective care visits, our office will not be billing the insurance company for the patient’s care. The office will supply a “general receipt” for payments received and will not supply any billing information for insurance billing purposes, unless otherwise agreed upon in advance and signed by both parties. Insurance companies may not cover prescriptions called into the compounding pharmacy; therefore, the compounding pharmacy will call you directly for a method of payment prior to shipping it to you. We cannot do prior authorizations for prescription medication.
• Most lab tests ordered by Total Approach Wellness & Aesthetics will be billed directly to your insurance by the lab.
• Some lab tests we offer as part of our functional medicine testing program may not be covered by insurance and in these cases you will be charged a fee for a particular test by the lab company. We will inform you of the traditional co-pays associated with the labs we order.
• The specific tests ordered will be personalized to you based on your initial evaluation with a Total Approach Wellness & Aesthetics provider and may include blood saliva urine or stool testing.
• You are under no obligation to purchase any specialty testing.
• Should any lab results indicate you may need further testing you will be directed to continue your care with your primary care physician or a relevant specialist.
• If your particular insurance company only pays for blood work done at a particular lab facility like LabCorp, you must inform us of this in advance of having blood work done. Most insurance plans cover labs done by major national labs.
