Wondering whether hormone deficiencies might be behind weight gain that doesn’t respond to diet or exercise?
Struggling with brain fog, forgetfulness, or mood swings that you know aren’t normal for you?
Is a good night’s sleep getting harder to come by, leaving you wondering how you’ll keep up?
Are you bloated, struggling with heartburn or even nagging joint pain that makes you feel like you're aging in fast-forward?
If you’ve already brought these concerns to your primary care doctor or OB-GYN, you’ve probably been told that your hot flashes, weight gain, mood swings, or brain fog are “just part of getting older.”
Maybe you were handed a prescription for hormone patches, creams, or pellets — without ever having your hormones comprehensively tested. And when the symptoms persisted? Too often the answer is: “The treatment should be working.”
The truth is, hormone optimization during perimenopause is one of the most overlooked areas in mainstream medicine. Women are left to struggle through some of the most critical years for their long-term health and well-being without proper support or guidance.

"Can’t say enough about Dr. Lastname and his exceptional team. I just completed a year as a practice member and I feel fantastic. I have learned so much about healthy eating and continue to get compliments on how great I look and my positive energy. While the weight loss has been slow, about 30 pounds over the past year, my clothes fit so much better and I love how trim my waist feels!! What’s more is that my energy is finally back and now I can work out on a regular basis without feeling wiped out after".

Standard bloodwork often skips key hormone markers and even when they’re included, they’re judged against “normal” lab ranges, not optimal ones. Most providers only look at TSH (thyroid), or one estrogen marker (if you are lucky(, and rarely track progesterone, testosterone, cortisol, or detox markers. Without deeper testing, your hormone picture is incomplete and so is your treatment.

Most conventional doctors were never trained in hormone optimization, especially for perimenopausal and menopausal women because it's not part of their training. They’re taught to treat disease, not guide women through hormonal transitions. That’s why you may have been offered birth control, antidepressants, or “reassurance” instead of real testing or support.

BHRT isn’t one-size-fits-all and delivery methods, dose and timing matter. While patches and pellets are common, they’re often prescribed without comprehensive testing or ongoing monitoring. That’s why so many women try BHRT but still feel off. We tailor dosing, delivery, and support around your lab data, symptoms, lifestyle, and goals and that’s when real results happen.
